So good I bought a second one.
I bought one of these & put it in my bedroom. For years I have been wakening up in the night with a extremely blocked nose & extremely dry mouth but the first night of use I slept soundly breathing freely all night long with a easy normal nasal breathing pattern. I was so impressed I bought a second one for the living room & my blocked nose is now a thing of the past.

Does what it says
Bought one for my step-daughter who's undergoing chemotherapy. Using it to keep the air as free of moulds and viruses as possible. Installation and set-up was easy and easy to monitor on the app. So far all working well.

Great device unfortunately there are no spare filters available so the device is useless when the filter needs replacing

Simple to operate
The unit looks nice and I have had no issues connecting to WiFi or the app. It is indeed silent on night mode and has a good selection of settings. I am slightly doubtful of the actual validity of the allergen/ particulate data as there doesn't appear to be any actual sensors that take measurements, personally I think they are notional figures based on the airflow settings and age of filter.

Just what we needed
Great product, does a great job of filtering the air quickly. Helpful app. You can use the purifier with or without WiFi which I like. Almost silent on sleep mode. Slight downside is the size but I guess it wouldn't be so good at filtering if it was smaller.

Hay fever fix
Been suffering a bit from hay fever so thought we'd try a HEPA filter to remove allergens in the house. We put the Phillips 1000 in the bedroom and run a medium or auto setting during the day to clear the air after making the bed - the PM sensor shows how shaking a duvet puts lots of particles into the air. We run the near-silent night mode all night. Hay fever symptoms dramatically reduced. Very happy so far. From my experience with other Philips products over many years, availability of replacement filter elements should not be a problem.

The Philips AC1715 Air Purifier features a PM2.5 sensor and air quality sensors. When you first select the SmartAir Control function, the air quality indicator will flash red as the sensor measures the ambient air quality. After approximately 5 minutes, the indicator will light up green if the air quality is good or red if the air quality is poor.
