1st one I got home did not talk, no way to replace batteries. Returned same day and was given a replacement. The sound was terrible on that one. Batteries golng on it. As it was half price gave it to my great granddaughter as a soft toy.

I bought this for my granddaughters birthday. She loves Peppa pig, but the sound does not work. On checking through other reviews I see that this is a very common fault with this toy. I could have returned this for a refund but decided instead to give it as a silent cuddly toy instead.

For the price, the puppet is pretty decent. I can see why Argos are trying to get rid of this item from their stock as what everyone says about the battery is true. The battery was faulty from the moment I purchased it but for a fiver just for the puppet is not bad. I'd recommend to argos to flog it all off for 2 quid with no returns...
