A cardboard construction kit
I bought this at the request of one of my granddaughters after she had made the cafe and shop.Her and her sister have a plastic Barbie house but I think they enjoy the craft work involved as much as anything. They are still playing with the cafe and shop 3 weeks later.

Bit difficult for kids
Really good idea and once built it's really sturdy. Good value for money. I just ended up putting it together and my daughter stuck the stickers on.

An excellent gift for my granddaughter
My 7 yr old granddaughter requested a Barbie Dreamhouse from Santa but they were so expensive I decided it wasn't possible. My google search resulted in this 'Make your own Barbie Dreamhouse' and as she loves crafting, it had good reviews and was an amazing price, I thought I'd give it a try. It surpassed all expectations. It was extremely sturdy and it provided a wonderful Christmas pastime constructing and decorating it with the accessories. It's sturdiness and amount of parts meant it was a little too heavy for her to take home to Austria, so it is remaining here until her next trip - but that is not a problem for anyone who doesn't need to transport it.
