Great value for money. Love the idea you can fill it through the lid without having to take the lid off. It's a little slow when boiling. Like the idea you can get the matching toaster.

Replacement of an cream kettle I thought this would be the same as last it's not The last had button on side to open lid without touching it this has a lid which you have to take off to place water into or straight into from front a bit of safety issue if just boiled I've had to be conscious of leaving to cool before refill

The supplier has confirmed to remove the lid from the Morphy Richards 108273 Hive Kettle, you need to press the lid release button. This button is located on the lid itself, and pressing it will allow you to lift the lid off the kettle.

Morphy Richards 108274 Hive Kettle - White 945/6662 I can advise that steam can escape from the easy fill hole at the top on the lid as well as the spout. This easy fill hole is a design feature of this item and therefore not able to be closed.

The base is 15.5cm diameter.
The base tapers in as it goes down, so the diameter of the top of the base is slightly bigger than the diameter of the bottom of the base. Bottom of base diameter 15cm.
