Morphy Richard’s Hive Kettle (Dark grey)
I purchased this Morphy richard’s Hive kettle when it was on offer in Argos, I opted for the dark grey option. The design is lovely on the eye, i love the simplicity of the lid up top and the limescale filter at the front is a great feature. The kettle boils at speed and has remained surprisingly clean inside so far! We live in a hard water area and can really taste the difference when using this kettle for our tea and coffee. I have just recommended this kettle to my elder grandmother as hers has just broken. Highly recommend.

The supplier has confirmed to remove the lid from the Morphy Richards 108273 Hive Kettle, you need to press the lid release button. This button is located on the lid itself, and pressing it will allow you to lift the lid off the kettle.

Morphy Richards 108274 Hive Kettle - White 945/6662 I can advise that steam can escape from the easy fill hole at the top on the lid as well as the spout. This easy fill hole is a design feature of this item and therefore not able to be closed.

The base is 15.5cm diameter.
The base tapers in as it goes down, so the diameter of the top of the base is slightly bigger than the diameter of the bottom of the base. Bottom of base diameter 15cm.
