About this product
Iron clothes quickly and smoothly with the Morphy Richards EasyCHARGE Power+ Cordless Steam Iron. Its unique charging base uses colour indicators to show when reheating is needed - flashing red when power is low, solid red while heating, and a different colour when ready to use. The wireless cordless design eliminates tangled cords, with 360-degree docking in any direction and a powerful 2400W electric element that heats up in less than 30 seconds.
The ceramic soleplate glides across fabrics, delivering 35g/min steam with a 130g shot for stubborn creases. It has a steam tip for hard-to-reach areas, vertical steam for hanging clothes, and an anti-drip system to protect clothes. Includes auto shut-off, anti-scale, and a 3-year guarantee.

Customers Say
The cordless iron offers convenience and quick heating, but many users report issues with water leakage and insufficient heat retention, making ironing time-consuming for larger loads.

Leaking
Nice iron, however the iron drips water from the under the tip where you fill the iron up. The lid is fully closed. When using the iron, every so often, more often it leaves a wet patch on the item of clothing. Making it longer to iron the item. Seems to be a tolerance issue with the plastic components.

Expensive gimmick
While the unit being cordless is great. My base does not light up, the anti drip function is non existent and the amount of time the iron has to spend on the base to heat up means the ironing takes twice as long

Really easy to use
Bought this to replace our old one, works great

Poor product
Poor product, doesn’t hold heat well, needs constant re-heating. Would not buy again

Favourite iron ever
I can’t iron but this makes it easy.

Would recommend this iron
Light weight and modern cordless iron, heats up quick. much better than my old corded iron. Love the traffic light system it uses to tell you when to put it back on the base station to heat up again. Water tank seems massive. I am very happy with this iron 😊

Love this iron!
I really like this iron….. it’s light and easy to manouvre, loving the cordless (I’m not getting caught on the side of my ironing board now!) its pretty perfect for my needs, but I can imagine it’s not the iron for people that do huge amounts of ironing - we are a school shirt only kind of family or a dress/shirt for special occasions, I don’t do stacks of ironing……. or rather I refuse!!! I think the time taken for the iron to charge, for a pro ironer would get frustrating. It’s great for popping on the charging plate while I reorganise my shirt placement to iron the next area while the charge plate goes green again. If that’s your style then this is the iron for you!

Ok but only for a small pile
A light weight and effective iron. It loses stars because you just can't iron that much without having to recharge it. I should have just got a normal iron but I was put off by the trigger button under the handle which this one doesn't have. But if you do alot of ironing this is not the iron for you!

Hello Tessar,
The supplier has advised the following for the Morphy Richards 303251 EasyCHARGE Power+ Cordless Steam Iron:
"Kindly note, there is no precise quantity of water required. There is a maximum water level at the side of the tank and to ensure the tank does not overfill, it is recommended to not fill the tank over the max level indicator."
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello SPT130,
The Morphy Richards 303251 EasyCHARGE Power+ Cordless Steam Iron is manufactured in China.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hi Mags,
The Morphy Richards 303251 EasyCHARGE Power+ Cordless Steam Iron could use tap water, however the manufacturer does advise the following: "To reduce limescale damage we recommend using deionised, distilled or demineralised water, available at most large supermarkets. This is particularly important if you live in a hard water area."
Thanks for using Q&A,
Hello Kate 27,
The supplier has advised the following for the Morphy Richards 303251 EasyCHARGE Power+ Cordless Steam Iron:
"This iron can’t be ‘locked’ to the base it connects similar to an electric kettle and it’s base.
In regards to using with steam function; this is a physical button placed on the top which needs to be pressed.
The iron can be used without the steam function."
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi, thanks for your question. The power cord is not stored in the bottom of the charging plate. - Izabel
Hi there, this will need to go back onto the charging base as this would not stay hot enough to do the bedding in one go. I hope this helps. Thanks, Demi.
Hi Kay, thank you for contacting us. I would unfortunately not be able to say how sturdy it would be as I cannot trial and test this myself but the base is a flat surface so as long as the ironing board is flat then there should be no issues. Thanks, Demi.
Hi there, Throughout your ironing session, the iron must be replaced onto the charging base every few seconds or whenever you adjust your garments, to keep the heat topped up. If the charging base indicator light is flashing red, the iron must be replaced onto the charging base until the red light turns green again, then you can recommence ironing. Thanks, Richard.
Hi there, we never recommended any fragranced water to be used in any of our irons as this can cause damage. Thanks, Demi.
Hi Suey,
The Morphy Richards 303251 EasyCHARGE Power+ Cordless Steam Iron can be used with fragranced iron water.
Thank you for using Q&A.
