Easy settup
I bought only few weeks ago but so far so good. I had older HP printer but didn't want to replace cartridges so often ( cost and eco. reasons )so went for tank printer. For the price I didn't find better printer with main reailers and Argos is more convenient and online sellers in case of some problem . So if the price is reasonable I preffer local brick stores. It is used only for home print, kids arts and some DIY projects and some pictures. It is not specialised for pictures but there is YT review how to get better results with matt settings so hopefully that will brings fair results. I find filling the tanks easy and mess free. Replacement bottles are cheap enough, but argos shoud match amazon price on original bottles. With £50 cashback promo from epdon and uding discount card price came down under around £150 just to say it ws hard to find better printer in this price range. So it will last I will be happy customer. Print directly from phone works ok and via wifi from PC as well so setting up wasn't to hard and I didn't get sny issues.( we have android phones and old PC with win 10).

Seems like a great machine
I've only had this for two weeks but all seems very good so far. I particularly like the idea of the ink tanks rather than faffing about every couple of months getting cartridges.

I bought this to replace an earlier Epson EcoTank printer that I had used for many years. Although the initial outlay is greater, the cost of replacement ink is very low so if you are doing a lot of printing it really saves you money. This printer seems to be just as good as my previous one, with well defined printing and good colour. An added bonus is that it takes thicker card than my last printer.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Epson EcoTank ET-2850 Wireless Inkjet Printer: The inks that come with the unit are: Black (Pigment ink) and Colours (Dye based). We do not supply 'sublimation' ink with this printer. Sublimation ink is typically used in the world of crafting to create transfers that then use heat to transfer the image to a t-shirt for example. Special transfer paper needs to used for this as well.
