Poor chain re-tentioning system
Used once and couldn't successfully re tighten the saw chain. Unsafe to use in that condition, so abandoned the chainsaw.

Followed the instructions about tensioning the chain and the chain came off within 30 seconds, instructions not really clear about replacing it but did it and the chain came off after another 30 seconds what a waste of time DON’T BUY

Worked really well until it didn’t .
I was getting on really well with the chainsaw until it smoke started coming out of the motor after only a small amount of use. I let it cool down, gave it a check over, but it started smoking again, then wouldn’t run correctly at all.

McGregor chainsaw
relatively light and easy to handle chainsaw. Cuts through logs well. Lomg cord is very helpful. Keep an eye on the chainsaw oil level as it may run low quickly. Also keep the chain adjusted properly as it needs to be adjusted. For the price it is a worthy machine.

There is no assembly required, the tool will come ready to be used. It just needs to be filled with oil and have the chain tightened.

I tried to cut through 10 cintmetr, but it would not do it. I bayed 80 pounds for a very bad chainsaw it was useless. My garden looks very bad now the machine does not work dont waste money and time on it
