It works
Wanted a drive to back up data and to convert my audio cd collection, works well so far with both windows laptop and macbook air m5 via usb c. Handily comes with both usb 2.0 and usb c cables in the box. I received a silver model rather than black which is no problem as it looks pretty nice anyhow.

I have not used the DVD/CD reader/burner fully yet but what use I have used it for it is very good. Make sure you use the correct USB ports for full benifits. I ordered black as this was the only option , upon collection it was silver which did not matter as silver was my prefered colour.

All good, but wrong colour!
All good other than Argos product code (and accompanying website picture/ this review request) indicates that this product is supplied as black - it is actually a silver top with black surrounds and a black base. As it is hard to find online and was a replacement for a failed product, I kept and used it rather than returned it to the store. Be careful, the tray is flimsy so treat with care. Comes with both USB A and USB C cables which is useful.

Does the job, good quality build
Really pleased with it - well made, works straight out of the box (plug and play) and does the job really well. Super light and portable. Like all tech gadgets with moving parts, you'll want to store it securely, especially if you're travelling with it, but it feels like it will last. So much better than getting a shoddy cheap one from elsewhere.

the ZenDrive U9M is a DVD writer/burner that reads and writes standard CD and DVD formats (including M-DISC for archival storage). It is not designed to read Blu-ray discs or 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray discs.
