Assembly - the Instructions were a bit misleading as the illustration showed the Otterman frame with the holes in the wrong place for opening of bed for Left-side and had to work it out correctly by dismantling and re-assemble by common sense.

Great Stirage
My daughter has been using this for a few weeks now and has found the storage space excellent for her small room. The option to choose which side it lifts from us brilliant. The bed is sturdy and she finds it comfortable.

Cant go wrong
Great looking bed and easy to build, took round 1.5 hours for the two of us to build without any issues just taking our time. Storage is great of course with the side lift when lifting the mattress does take a small space on the side to be mindful of. Sturdy enough and looks good too.

Poorly manufactured
We purchased this bed to have in a small bedroom to provide additional hidden storage. Delivery was nonissue. The bed itself is poorly manufactured, the initial frame assembly was okay however the frame that holds the mattress does not align with the piston mechanism. Same day as delivery we have ordered we arranged a collection and refund.

Yes - the bed comes in separate parts rather than as one solid base. The headboard, footboard and side rails are all separate, and there are 12 parts in total, which should make it easier to get around a corner staircase.
