About this product
The Argos Home Lavendon bed frame gives you a comfortable place to sleep with built-in storage that keeps your bedroom tidy. The faux leather finish is easy to wipe down, while sprung wooden slats underneath support your mattress and help it last longer. There's a side-opening ottoman that lifts up to reveal storage space for spare bedding, extra pillows, or out-of-season clothes. You can assemble it to open from the left or right, depending on your room layout. It fits a double mattress and includes a headboard.
The ottoman storage holds 534 litres, enough for duvets, blankets and more without needing extra cupboard space. The frame stays stable with a maximum user weight of 220 kilogrammes. The frame sits low to the floor. The faux leather surface handles everyday marks and wipes clean after spills. Assembly takes two people and comes with clear instructions. Mattress sold separately. Manufacturer's one year guarantee included.

Great price, lots of storage!
This bed is a great for the price. It took several hours for 2 of us to build and we did make some mistakes along the way but nothing that wasn’t easy to change. Lots of storage inside and it looks good in my son’s room. Im thinking of using a strap as a handle to see it that makes it easier to get a grip and open it quicker but that is not a big problem.

My daughter has been using this for a few weeks now and has found the storage space excellent for her small room. The option to choose which side it lifts from us brilliant. The bed is sturdy and she finds it comfortable.

Great looking bed and easy to build, took round 1.5 hours for the two of us to build without any issues just taking our time. Storage is great of course with the side lift when lifting the mattress does take a small space on the side to be mindful of. Sturdy enough and looks good too.

Great, can't fault it. Easy to put together, instructions were straightforward. The bed is sturdy and looks fab. My son is super pleased. I got it on a 1/3 off special offer which was a bonus. Would happily pay tyr full price though, great value. It says 2 people necessary to put together, it helped having two people especially when the bed needed turning over to fit the base of the storage on the bottom. Other than that i would've managed myself probably

Yes - the bed comes in separate parts rather than as one solid base. The headboard, footboard and side rails are all separate, and there are 12 parts in total, which should make it easier to get around a corner staircase.
