About this product
The Habitat Radius Double Wooden Bed Frame provides a solid place to rest that holds up to daily use and looks good doing it. Built from solid oak and oak veneer, natural hardwood known for strength and durability, its wood grain patterns add character while softly rounded corners add warmth. A gently sloping headboard is ideal for propping up with a cushion when reading before sleep. Wooden slats support your mattress without a separate base. It fits a standard double mattress and suits both modern and traditional bedrooms.
The oak frame sits on wooden slats that provide even weight distribution across the mattress. There's 26cm of space underneath, so you can hoover beneath or tuck storage boxes out of sight. The structure supports up to 220kg in total, that's plenty for two people and bedding. Natural oak lets the wood's grain show through. Self-assembly is needed, and it's easier with two people to handle the larger pieces. All fixings and instructions are provided. It's covered by the manufacturer's one-year guarantee for peace of mind.

Lower quality than before
I already have one of these bedframes that I love so I bought a second one for another bedroom in my house. Unfortunately the quality has gone down on the subframe of this bed as it's using a cheeper solution using extra legs down the middle of the bed that you cannot see in the picture. The veneer is also not as nice as on my older version of this bedframe. It still looks great but I'm disappointed on the lower quality.

Great-looking bed. The sloping headboard is really comfortable for sitting up but does mean the frame extends a long way into the room. Disappointed with the length of the slats - they don’t seem long enough. I have sat on the edge of the bed a few times and the slats hahave popped out of their hilders and fallen to the floor (I’m not that heavy).

Habitat Radius Double Wooden Bed frame
I love this bed which goes perfectly in our bedroom. My only criticism is that it went in the sale in January for a short time and when I looked again, the sale was gone: Habitat must make it clear when their sale stops (my logic was that it was going to last the whole of January).

This bed comes in 2 packs. Pack 1/2 is 22kg, pack 2/2 is 12kg. The net weight is about 28kg.

This has four visible main legs (on each external corner) plus three legs on the bed’s central support rail as well. It would therefore depend on how you would refer to the legs. The external frame and what the user would see is four legs but, overall, if you count these little, “internal” functional legs, it’s seven legs.
