About this product
The Habitat Radius Single Wooden Bed Frame gives you a solid place to sleep that'll suit a smaller bedroom or guest room. It's built with a solid oak and oak veneer frame that's sturdy enough for everyday use, while the natural woodgrain gives each bed its own unique look. The gently sloping headboard's just right for propping a cushion against when you're reading before bed. Softly rounded corners add character and safety. The wooden slat base supports your mattress evenly without needing a separate foundation. It works well in modern or traditional bedrooms.
There's 26cm of space underneath, so you can store boxes or bags out of sight and hoover beneath without awkward manoeuvring. The frame holds up to 110kg total weight, so it's suitable for most adults. Self-assembly's required, and it's easier with two people to handle the pieces. The bed arrives in two flat-pack boxes with everything you need to put it together. There's no built-in storage, keeping the design simple and the frame lightweight at 29kg. Covered by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee.

Great-looking bed. The sloping headboard is really comfortable for sitting up but does mean the frame extends a long way into the room. Disappointed with the length of the slats - they don’t seem long enough. I have sat on the edge of the bed a few times and the slats hahave popped out of their hilders and fallen to the floor (I’m not that heavy).

Disappointing production standard
The majority of the frame was very good. However the fixing holes were very poorly machined and I had great difficulty in getting the fixings to line up. Trying to contact Argos customer support was one of the most infuriating experiences as well.

solid well designed bed stylish
Make sure you follow the instructions to assemble (drawings not too clear) but eventually a solid well designed bed. Can take up to 10KG and the mattress just fits snugly in the frame. Highly recommend the Radius series

This bed comes in 2 packs. Pack 1/2 is 22kg, pack 2/2 is 12kg. The net weight is about 28kg.

This has four visible main legs (on each external corner) plus three legs on the bed’s central support rail as well. It would therefore depend on how you would refer to the legs. The external frame and what the user would see is four legs but, overall, if you count these little, “internal” functional legs, it’s seven legs.
