Better than expected.
Bought this in the vain hope that it would replace my ageing (and obsolete) Harmony 665. To my surprise it's actually quite good even though it's nowhere near as configurable. Physically it's well constructed and has 'clicky' buttons with good tactile feedback except for the BACK ACTIVITY EXIT ring which is totally smooth. Would be even better if it had illuminated buttons and perhaps a bit more differentiation in button shape and size.and some form of raised moulding on the BACK and EXIT. Nevertheless its perfectly usable as is.

Not perfect but does the job
The critical 'OK' button went on our much used LG magic remote and an exact replacement was hard to source so we decided to try this. Our TV is over 10 years old so I wasn't surprised when this new remote couldn't match the exact setup code. I downloaded the app which is extremely basic and after a good half hour of frustrating attempts it did eventually pair the remote with the TV using one of the three possible codes supplied. The crucial functions all work as intended so it's kept our otherwise perfectly good TV in use for a few more years but there are some minor irritations. I'm pretty good with technology but so far I haven't been able to get the learning or activity functions to operate properly and I've no dedicated access to the TV settings because the button mapping process doesn't seem to work. On the plus side I've set it up with our old Humax Freeview recorder so it's reduced the number of remotes needed. Bought when on sale I'd say this remote is better than nothing but depending on the age and make of your devices be prepared to perservere with the setup.

Excellent universal remote
Excellent product, pretty seamless setup and the learning function is also great. Buttons have a nice click to them and everything is accounted for. If there was only one improvement I would make it would be for it to have backlit keys and maybe a dock or be usb-c rechargeable but regardless, it’s awesome.

Unfortunately this did not work with my 32 inch jvc tv. There was several jvc codes to try but I went through them all and none worked sadly

It will work if the original remote that came with the TV worked. Most TV,s these days can operate devices that are connected via HDMI but if the original remote does not operate third party devices then no it wont work.

It will operate the volume if you are using HDMI arc or earc to connect it to your TV. It wont work other features such as Clear voice, cinema etc.
