About this product
The Ring RTC1000 is a tyre inflator designed with ease and speed in mind. The large backlit display allows users to quickly dial in the desired pressure and monitor progress. Inflating a flat 13 tyre in just two minutes, the rapid motor automatically stops once the desired pressure has been reached. The convenient wind-up cable, which fits into the back of the inflator, stops any messy wires when in storage and the built-in LED light helps in dark environments. Comes with a three-piece adaptor set, 4 valve caps, latex gloves and storage case.

Just what I was looking for
Have previously used a non-digital tyre inflator, so this digital one is a big improvement for me. To be able to set the target pressure is so convenient. The combination of power lead and connector cable only just reaches my rear tyres on what is only an average sized car so might be an issue for some vehicles. Like the way everything tidies away and the whole unit into a zipped bag - nice touch. Only criticism would be that the (fairly brief) instructions were all in foreign languages ie none in English, however the pictorial images were sufficient for me.

Bought this item when I passed my test and got a car, highly recommend I feal more at ease driving knowing I have this. Tyres are blown up to their pressure and the item automatically stops when it’s at the pressure maximum.

Fab!!!!!
My husband was out of town and I normally leave the tyre pumping to him. I work up to a flat.Argos to the rescue! This was easy even for me! Pumped up all 4 tyres and I was off. A great lesson that you can sort car things out yourself even if you aren't a car person!

Wouldn’t work, returning it
First use was to attempt to blow up a bike tyre. Stopped at 21 psi and wouldn’t go any further. Tried later on a car tyre, it was difficult to start at all and when it did stopped at around 20 psi.

Length of air hose 0.7 m
You would need to check the distance from your 12 volt power plug to the furthest point to see if this is suitable. On paper it does look like it will be even if the 12 volt is in the centre, however you've not given the width of the camper van.

Regarding the Ring RTC1000 Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator with Auto-Stop.
The RTC1000 plugs into the 12V socket in the car and comes with brass screw stem valve connector for connecting to the tyre. Providing your car has a 12V socket this item will be compatible.

After checking with the supplier, I can confirm this Ring RTC1000 Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator connects to a cigarette lighter port and not a USB C port. There is an adapter available to convert to a USB type C port which must be purchased separately.
