About this product
This door gives your pet all the independence he needs. Easy to install, the solid aluminium frame has reinforced corners for heavy use or for multiple pet homes. The flexible, soft flap is tinted and adjustable. A magnetic flap closure and pile weather stripping along the sides of the flap opening form a weather-resistant seal. A closing panel is included for improved weather-resistance or to control your pet's access to the pet door.

Exactly what i wanted
The aluminium door is much quieter than the cheaper all plastic door so you dont get the click clack every time the dogs use it. Its also easier to train the dogs to use it as it doesnt scare them with the noise. My daughters dog was terrified of our other one but is using this new one no problem.

The frame is aluminium and the flap is soft and closes magnetically so would also be suitable for cats.

Our supplier has advised that the Large Aluminium Pet Door can fit in to walls 9.5mm (3/8") up to 50mm (2").

- (8) Nylon Screws (#8-32 x 3" Phillips Panhead)
- (8) Aluminum Nut Sleeves (#8-32)

The measurements given are for the frame as a whole. The hole to be cut is 451mm x 277mm and the maximum shoulder width for the pet is 260mm.

We took out the glass pane and put in a piece of wood. Then cut out the shape of the flap and it fits a dream.

For safety reasons it is not recommended to fit this product in glass.

Except in a upvc door, you can't use the flap cover due to the door panel not being tall enough to slide the panel in. You can actually see where they've edited the video in order to make it look like it fits. It's laughable. If you want the security of a cover, buy a different product.
