I got this to replace my old one that I have had for meany years. This new one is very different but after some getting used to I can say the improvement are very good.

Good value for money
I bought this a while ago and use it every week. It can be fiddly to change the different length guards but once you get the hang of it all is fine. Battery lasts a good amount of time. Could be stronger plastic as blade guards can feel flimsy.

Faulty item

Very good all in one trimmer but not perfect
I have tried numerous all in one trimmers. I settled on this model from Babyliss and have been very satisfied. I have also got a 14 in one Philips trimmer which does some things better that the Babyliss. The Philips has a sharper blade, it seems to be more powerful & it has a very good detail trimmer. The Babyliss trimmer has a very good foil body trimmer, foil beard shaver and the detail trimmer is also good. I don’t really rate the Babyliss or Philips for beard trimming and would opt for a specialised beard trimmer. For head shaving, the Philips is much better. The ear & nose trimmer attachment works much better on the Babyliss compared to the Philips. So I think from the above details, you’ll notice that there are pro’s and cons to each trimmer. I have tried many many trimmers and have settled on the Babyliss & Philips 14 in one. As with many of these products, you’ll notice that the attachments feel cheap and flimsy. They are also sometimes fiddly to attach and detach from the main unit. But the 3 year warranty will help ease your mind about this as you can always claim on your warranty for any faults or breakages.
