Great pressure but other than that the hose always knots up and it’s so thick meaning it’s a battle to un raval it. Also the hose always pops out the karcher meaning I’m having to stop and start cleaning making it longer

Powerful washer
First purchase of a pressure washer, not disappointed with the Karcher K4. Great results on my dirty old paving slabs & the ability to adjust the ‘strength’ of the water jet is useful. However I was surprised at the amount of self assembly required, and the instructions are none too clear (tip: use the online version as it’s in colour & zoomable, the small paper ‘manual’ in the box is black & white). Like other reviewers I found the high-pressure hose very difficult to uncoil from its transport position on the rear of the device through the hose guide (it was a bit like wrestling a crocodile!), but once uncoiled and stretched out it was ok. However it has a tendency to coil up, hopefully this will ease with use. Whilst the hose is a good length I would have liked a longer power lead to avoid the possibility of an extension cable plug getting wet. Overall though I am pleased with my Karcher & look forward to years of use.

Excellent pressure washer
Didn’t realise how poor my old pressure washer was. The K4 makes light work of general pressure washing tasks. Also being a Karcher most accessories are compatible.

great gadget, hard to use in a small space
it works very well but the amount of steam it creates is overwhelming in a small space. We used it to clean a wet room floor, not completely successful though a big improvement

Karcher K4 Pressure Washer
Purchased to replace an older model which had served well over the years but finally packed up. This model is more compact and stable than its predecessor and delivers a higher pressure spray, particularly with the Power Lance. On first use, with the patio tool fitted it cleaned a large expanse of paving with ease. Very pleased.
