Customers Say
Wooden curtain pole offers good value, easy installation, and a nice finish. However, the two-piece design and short joining screw cause stability issues, especially with heavier curtains, leading to sagging and poor joins.

Good value product easy installation
Bob the job
Nowt fancy, but does the intended job
Wanted a one piece curtain rail, to replace an expanding one, so this one got the job. Installation was easy. I always use my own screws, so can't comment on the supplied ones. It's not the thickest curtain pole ever (1.8m version), so I'm not sure if it'd sag when at full length, but it's only spanning 1.34m, so it's OK with my lined door curtain. Curtain rings are plastic, but glide nicely, so that works for me.

Great inexpensive curtain rail.
Very easy to install, looks great with my natural theme, glides very smoothly, (I haven't used the round curtain hooks, I've just put my eyelet curtains on the rail), my curtains aren't heavy so I can't say whether it would hold heavy curtains, although I think the longer poles also have a middle piece for stability. Overall, very pleased, good quality fir the extremely low price, and I shall be purchasing more as I redecorate each room in my home.

Not as described
Not as described. Bizarrely much bigger diameter than shorter pole on same site menu and product description had two different diameters listed

Easy to fit
Easy to fit using the included screws and raw plugs. Rings will glide better once they have worn in a bit.

Too lightweight a material
I should have read the description first, as I didn’t realise the 240cm pole comes in two parts. These two did not want to fit together securely. The screw just wasn’t holding the poles close enough together. We tried to glue it but that didn’t work either. If it was struggling to be a whole pole in our hands we knew it wouldn’t support having curtains on it, so we discarded it and brought something else.

2 poles never line up
Centre hole in pole has been drilled off centre on one pole so never lines up.

could be a fraction sturdier
A tad too flimsy to hold a weightier curtain fabric, bends a bit in the middle. Not the end of the world but you get what you pay for
