Poor quality
Bought this 240cm curtain pole which comes as two pieces. Had to cut it to 230cm to fit and using the joining screw (which is too short for stable joint) I found that one side was bowed and affected the fit and look so had to bin it. Went to B&Q and was able to buy a 240cm one length pole which is great.

The quality is very poor. The holes that have been drilled at the point where the two bits of the pole are meant to join up are not centred so there isn't anyway of getting a clean join.

Appearance is OK but the pole and mountings are lightweight and only suitable for fairly low loads. It is not easy to line up the two sections exactly when joining them. It would help to know the maximum recommended load.

It's a curtain pole.
It's a curtain pole. It's wooden. It's 2.4m. The only thing I didn't realise is it came in two sections. This wasn't an issue, I just assumed it would be one pole. It's great value for money. Good quality. Would recommend. Easy to put up and looks really well.
