Nowt fancy, but does the intended job
Wanted a one piece curtain rail, to replace an expanding one, so this one got the job. Installation was easy. I always use my own screws, so can't comment on the supplied ones. It's not the thickest curtain pole ever (1.8m version), so I'm not sure if it'd sag when at full length, but it's only spanning 1.34m, so it's OK with my lined door curtain. Curtain rings are plastic, but glide nicely, so that works for me.

Great inexpensive curtain rail.
Very easy to install, looks great with my natural theme, glides very smoothly, (I haven't used the round curtain hooks, I've just put my eyelet curtains on the rail), my curtains aren't heavy so I can't say whether it would hold heavy curtains, although I think the longer poles also have a middle piece for stability. Overall, very pleased, good quality fir the extremely low price, and I shall be purchasing more as I redecorate each room in my home.

Easy to fit using the included screws and raw plugs. Rings will glide better once they have worn in a bit.

Too lightweight a material
I should have read the description first, as I didn’t realise the 240cm pole comes in two parts. These two did not want to fit together securely. The screw just wasn’t holding the poles close enough together. We tried to glue it but that didn’t work either. If it was struggling to be a whole pole in our hands we knew it wouldn’t support having curtains on it, so we discarded it and brought something else.

Could be better
The material and finish visually is really good and clean, just what I was looking for, something simple but not cheap-looking for our child’s bedroom but as it comes in 2 parts, it comes with a double-ended screw and piloted holes - this is where the problem was.. The screw is simply too short for such a length and gives zero stability before fixing with and to the brackets so be careful! The pilot holes were not centred when fixed, so ended up having to do my best making bigger holes to try centre them better, then use a custom joint fixing fixed it together with wood glue. Really not ideal and could’ve simply been avoided with accurate pilot holes and longer screw piece.
