This soft and comfortable is perfect for your star pets when they need to sleep or rest. The star-designed bed has a reversible inner pad and a wipe clean base for easy cleaning. It has non-slip backing on the bottom so that the bed doesn't move too much when your dogs get in and out of it. On top of that it's also machine washable for your cleaning convenience. Perfect for extra large dogs.

Soft but not thick
Bought this for a puppy. It was in a vacuum sealed bag. Instructions were to leave for 24 hours to plump up. It did not plump up. Still quite flat. Only up as in a cage so both side are lifted up. Our puppy is obviously not heavy so I don't think this would be suitable for any dog over the size of a french bulldog, jack russell etc as it's got no support. Puppy likes it as it's soft but I expect in a few months he'll have flattened it completely. The stuff inside is all lumpy and not great quality.

Big problem
After day 1 I noticed that the bottom of the bed left a soaking patch on the floor and thought the dog had piddled. Next time he went in the bed the same thing happened again and our dog is not renowned for doing this. The bottom of the bed sweats onto the floor so if you have a laminate or wooden floor it leaves a big damp patch. The only way round this is to put a towel between the bottom of the bed and the floor and lift/change it every morning . Lovely looking bed but totally impractical. Ps our dog is a little Lhasa ahpso

50kg dogs are generally classed as a large breed. The bed is perfect for extra large dogs, so should be suitable.

It does say suitable for a small size dog so if your cats are small to medium I would say no, it is not suitable.

It looks like the whole bed is washable, although we haven't yet washed the cushion as it was replaced by another one that Smudge was already using. He loves his new bed!
