The BCE Heritage snooker cues are designed for the serious player. The shaft is made with the finest North American Ash and that's combined with a hand spliced, sapele mahogany butt. It is stained black, not painted, for a classic, smooth look. Maple and ebony veneers with a purple heart front splice make this a cue that you will be proud to own.

As such there is a lot of deflection with the cue so is not ideal for Snooker due to the ball weight and the shot types. This cue is more suited to 8 Ball Pool not American Pool as the balls are small and lighter and shots are low powered and short. Hence the defection would not be noticed. However, Snooker is a different game. So not recommended for Snooker...
Its an Ash shaft and rosewood butt cue. So not flimsybouncy. It is just way too grippy as laquered finish rather than oiled so drags on bridge hand etc so you would need to wear a pool glove. Whilst the butt end becomes clammy and hence unless laquer removed becomes an issue after it warms up a few minutes
