About this product
Brighten your workspace with this flexible desk lamp that delivers focused light exactly where you need it. Whether you're working through a busy week, catching up on paperwork or crafting in the evening, it directs light down onto your desk or table so you can see clearly and stay comfortable. The adjustable neck lets you angle it to suit your task, and the white interior reflects light outwards for maximum brightness. Available in a range of semi-matte colours, it adds a cheerful pop of colour to your desk, sideboard or bedside table while keeping things neat and tidy.
It uses a small edison screw E14 LED bulb up to 6 watts, so you can choose your preferred brightness and light colour. The 1.3m cord gives you flexibility with placement, and the inline switch makes it easy to turn on and off without reaching for the plug. Arrives fully assembled so you can start using it straight away, and it's built to last with quality construction. Backed by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee for complete peace of mind.

Good value
I bought this for my son’s new halls of residence at University. It was good value for money, compact and attractive. Lights up his desk area nicely and provides a nice finish touch to help make the room more his own.

Lamp
Lovely lamp not too bright. Sadly you have to buy bulbs separate. Solid heavy base. Great price.

Great for the money
No bulb supplied but once I have the right one, it's great and very bright. It looks nice - the orange, nearly red colour is very attractive. Shade move around conveniently. Very good for the money. I would recommend.

Hello Nat,
The supplier has advised for the Home Desk Lamp - White: This lamp requires an E14/SES fitting with a maximum of 6W LED bulb. The dimensions described sound like a candle bulb, so as long as it is the correct fitting and wattage it would be fine to use in this lamp. The end of the bulb may protrude from the shade of the lamp but it will still work well. If you would prefer the bulb to be more within the shade then a mini-globe/golf ball bulb would be the shape to go for.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your query about the Desk Lamp - Flint Grey.
This lamp does not come with any bulb. You'd need to purchase this separately. The Hex value would be based on the bulb's type, colour, and other factors, rather than the lamp.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello VZ,

I can confirm the shade directs light down onto your desk or table, the white interior reflects the light outwards so you get maximum brightness for your buck.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Nana Mor,

To clarify, you need to buy 1 x golfball E14 small edison screw SES light bulb.
If you use an LED bulb, which is what most Argos replies link to, only use a LED E14 small screw SES bulb of 6 Watts or less.
This is a small golf ball sized bulb, with a white base, and a narrow screw in fitting.
OR you can use an Eco-Halogen bulb - up to 28 Watts, or less - which are clear glass where you see the filament.
But LED bulbs are longer lasting than Halogen bulbs.
Hope this explains things.
