About this product

i bought this lamp a couple of weeks ago and i am totaly dissatisfied as there was no lamp with it as these are a special lamp. that do not give off heat . i thought one would be included i will now have to go to the electrical wholesalers to purchase one making a soecial trip into town . if i had know i would have gone some where else

The supplier has advised for the Home Desk Lamp - White: This lamp requires an E14/SES fitting with a maximum of 6W LED bulb. The dimensions described sound like a candle bulb, so as long as it is the correct fitting and wattage it would be fine to use in this lamp. The end of the bulb may protrude from the shade of the lamp but it will still work well. If you would prefer the bulb to be more within the shade then a mini-globe/golf ball bulb would be the shape to go for.

To clarify, you need to buy 1 x golfball E14 small edison screw SES light bulb.
If you use an LED bulb, which is what most Argos replies link to, only use a LED E14 small screw SES bulb of 6 Watts or less.
This is a small golf ball sized bulb, with a white base, and a narrow screw in fitting.
OR you can use an Eco-Halogen bulb - up to 28 Watts, or less - which are clear glass where you see the filament.
But LED bulbs are longer lasting than Halogen bulbs.
