About this product

Nanuqsaurus is a fascinating member of the tyrannosaur family from the north of Alaska, where fossils of this prehistoric creature have been found. 'Nanuq' is the Alaskan Iã±upiaq word for 'polar bear', while 'saurus' is Greek for 'lizard'. Fossilised skull remains of the Nanuqsaurus were found in 2006 and proved that the species had lived in a polar habitat. It's estimated that they were approximately six metres long and weighed around 1000kg. This lifelike model is presented in a stalking position, so it can sneak up on unsuspecting prey!
