Cheaper in other shops
Much cheaper than other shops the time I realised that it was already open the packet but yeah, I do recommend go to other shops

Works well
Have been using this for many months to light our front drive and it has worked very well. The motion sensor reacts quickly. Is a bit of a fiddle to adjust the length of time tge light stayed on.

Took a while to settle in
We got this following after reading reviews as well as looking at the specs. Seemed alright; fairly easier to set up and similar to the previous one we had. this time however, it did not work properly immediately for some reason. It kept on flickering on and off and coming on randomly in the day and staying on for longer than it should have. Husband had to fiddle with it again and again until it eventually worked as was expected. Still don't know why but it seems ok now. Let's hope it stays that way.

Hello There,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight:
Yes, for safety reasons this product needs to be earthed.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello Kat1,
The supplier has advised the following for the Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight:
This floodlight has a sealed prewired supply cable. To attach it to existing wiring, you would have to use a waterproof IP rated junction block for interconnection. If the floodlight is opened, it would lose its IP rating and this would void the warranty. (There'd also, of course, be the safety factors to consider were you to attempt to re-wire it with it being an electrical item).
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello there,
The supplier has advised the following for the Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight:
No it cannot be wired into a 3-pin plug. "The floodlight needs a 240v supply and as a light it would be recommended to be connected to the lighting circuit".
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi Nic,
The Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight measures H15.5, W15.5, D14cm.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hi there,
Yes, I can confirm this can be connected to an existing wiring.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hello Waltzinger,
The supplier has advised the following for the Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight:
No you cannot remove the cable from the device. It's integrated into it, being put in and connected to the innards before the case is then put on it. To remove it would very likely risk damage to the item, risk making it unsafe, and also would risk invalidating the warranty on it too. It would invalidate the Argos guarantee were you to try this. (We'd advise this even if the installer was a qualified electrical engineer as the device is not designed or intended to be taken apart in such a way so as to allow it to be rewired and connected up).
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes it does come with cable.
Hi there
The Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight comes with 75 cm long cable.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Hello MAS,
The supplier has confirmed the following on the Luceco 20W Slimline LED PIR Floodlight:
“This model is a PIR floodlight meaning it is triggered by some form of heat source. This could be reasons such as passers by, car engines if its located near a driveway , air fumes emitted from heating , boilers etc. The dial on the light also might be on the highest setting – please check these settings incase they have been knocked or needs adjusting”
Thanks for using Q&A.
It could be that something like a fluttering leaf or a wavy tree branch is causing the light to activate.
I would also adjust the sensor to come on when it's fully dark ( turn the knob on the back of the fitting fully clockwise I think ).
There are two adjusters on the back ...one for the length of time that the light will stay on and the other for setting the ' darkness ' when you want to activate the light.
It can be a bit awkward to see the adjusters so take a torch with you even in daylight.
Hope that helps
Hello there,
I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
"I don't see any reason it would be a problem; the bracket is long enough to slip around the PIR so a ceiling above the light shouldn’t be a problem, although it may affect heat dissipation from the heat sinks if there isn't enough airflow under the structure".
Thank you for using Q and A.
Hi Sparkey,
This has a detection range of up to 10 Meters over a 120° degree area.
Thanks for using Q&A,
Seems perfectly feasible so don’t see why not
Yes, at least my one certainly is.
