My awning looks great on the wall , It shades eve.
All I find is when the weather is windy , Don’t open it , it’s not strong enough to stand the wind , but it does say that in the instructions.

The 3.5m item comes supplied with 3 x brackets. Each bracket requires 2 x holes to be drilled.

It's suggested, as an average only, that it be set about 260cm above the ground. However, this would be based on the height of the door, the width of the door (as you'd need to allow room for it to open fully without touching the awning), plus the desired pitch or angle of the awning when up. Also, you'd need to consider whether there are any other features or structures on the wall that could get in the way of the use of or the installation of the item.

Thanks for your query about the Greenhurst Berkeley Garden Awning - 3.5m.
This is designed for fixing to walls, for which suitable holes need to be drilled, and would not be suited to being fixed to a caravan.

the maximum drop for a 3.5m awning from the top of the awning to the frill at the front is 1.6m.
