A faulty buckle on your car seat or a loose wheel on your toddler's pushchair usually means they're no longer safe to use. But with Argos Ride Along Care, provided by the UK's leading specialist warranty provider Domestic & General, you wouldn't need to worry about replacing them.

What's included:

  • Accidental damage cover from the moment your policy starts.
  • Breakdown cover once your manufacturer's guarantee runs out .

What's not included:

  • Damage caused by not following the manufacturer's instructions .
  • Loss or theft.
  • Deliberate and cosmetic damage (such as dents, scratches or damage to paintwork).
  • Accessories not included with the original product.

General information:

Your statutory rights will not be affected when you buy a policy. These include the right to claim a refund, repair, or replacement for up to six years (may be different in Scotland) if your electrical goods were not of satisfactory quality or fit for purpose when they were sold to you. You can buy a policy at the point of purchase or within 45 days of buying them. If your item is replaced under the policy, the policy will end.

Your policy can be cancelled at any time within 45 days of purchase. You will receive a full refund if you have not claimed under the policy. After the 45-day cancellation period you may terminate the policy at any time. If you have not received a replacement we'll refund the fee paid by you for the remaining full months of the policy.

Policies may be available from other providers. You may also be covered under your household contents insurance or other policies that you may hold. Domestic & General Insurance PLC is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. If we cannot meet our obligations to you under the policy, compensation may be available to cover these obligations. The compensation provides for 90% of any claim with no upper limit on the amount of the claim.
