Give this TV a miss
Defective, had to return. No access to BBC content including iplayer. Continual error messages to check connections, reboot, reset to factory settings etc. On the plus side Argos were very easy to deal with and refunded my money promptly. Thank goodness I never bought on the open internet.

It was returned!
Compared to the other TV's in the house, it was overall very disappointing. Therefore it was returned! The picture quality was poor and the remote/TV was slow to respond. The system as a whole was complex and repetitive to be annoying.

Not compatible with iplayer
Not happy at all, this TCL product is not compatible with BBC iPlayer and this being a known issue, how ever non of this is stated, and after two days of completing all the standard troubleshooting tips plus factory reset find this out.

Not bad but not loving it
Bought this two weeks ago and I’m not really loving it. The picture is nice and sharp and the sound is fine although a bit tinny, I’ve tried adjusting the sound settings but they don’t provide any noticeable difference. My main gripe is the functionality, it’s just odd and doesn’t respond as you would expect, hard to put a finger on it but it’s just clunky and not very responsive to the remote control buttons. Also takes 3 or 4 attempts to switch on in the morning

First time purchase of this brand
We bought this for our daughter's bedroom. Set up was pretty easy, lovely colourful screen, responsive, good quality TV for the price. Just need to sort out the sound as it seems quiet. When setting up it asks for a pin number so the settings can't be changed. Which I can't decide whether its a good or bad thing, as its asked for the pin a few times since we bought it and it won't allow you to change the channel or use any buttons on the remote. It it keeps happening it may need to be returned or exchanged which would be a shame.
