A bit disappointed
I purchased this TV as it was the only one that I could find with an optical output so that I could connect my hifi system to it. Well, I did just that but nothing happened. I used the settings menu on the handset but I could find no way of setting up external speakers. It was only after searching the internet did I find the answer. It appears that the settings on the TV itself are different to those on the handset. Anyway that is now sorted, the sound from the TV is handled by my hifi system. Everything else is average in my opinion. Picture is nothing special, the choice of apps is very disappointing and the feet which the TV sits on are at each end of the TV not a central pillar. As I have to angle the TV on the quite large unit in my room, the feet needed to be off of the edge, I had to build a shelf on the back of my unit to accommodate the feet. Why not a central pillar, I have no idea. The other thing that I am having trouble with is that the fire TV is not fully connecting to my phone. All in all, I think that I would have done better to go for a different brand.

Great picture quality.
Great picture quality. Reasonably easy to set up which was just as well as there is a total lack of useful instructions either printed or available on line. Freely is a useful adjunct.
