I’ve had this product for a couple of months now, and I can honestly say it has completely transformed my television and music experience. While it’s not the cheapest option—and requires a monthly subscription to Samsung to sync with my TV—the pros far outweigh the cons. As a big movie buff, I’ve found it makes watching films incredibly immersive, bringing the cinema experience right into my living room. The quality is fantastic, and it adds a whole new dimension to how I enjoy music too. I love it so much that I’ve even purchased the matching Hue floor lamp to complement it. Easy setup
Worked perfectly right from the first and easy setup. Already had a hub working, and just had to add the new lighting strip to my setup. Synchronises perfectly with my TV and pc via hdmi (download hue app for your pc to sync lights).

Perfect for interactive lighting
I purchased this to compliment a dynamic lighting setup through a hue hdmi sync box. Without the sync box this is probably overpriced. However, having addressable segments of the light dynamically change during shows matching content is amazing. Consider it surround sound for lighting. I do recommend complimenting with two hue blooms either side of the tv on the side walls for a fuller effect. Certainly not a cheap luxury item, but if you have the cash and like your gadgets, it’s perfect.

Having checked to see, yes you would need the Bridge App to be able to operate this strip, including colour changes.

You will require a bridge to use this initially however if you want the strip to react to the images on a TV screen then you will require the sync box to be able to do this.

It is too small for the 65” tv, you have the 55” model made for 55-60” TVs, then the 65” model for 65-70” TVs and the 75” model for 75” and up TVs. It would obviously still light up, but the idea of that light strip is to match the content on the tv, which is why you have set sizing so it lines up correctly with the content

Do you mean the Philips Hue Play 55 Inch Indoor Gradient Lightstrip 877/1458? If so, yes, you can indeed use that 55 inch strip on 55" to 65" wall-mounted or standing TVs with the included mounts.
