Hi There
Husky Coca-Cola 48 Litre Drinks Cooler - Red
Having checked I can see you are able to place this on top of a freezer however the fridge will need 15cm clearance around it.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hello Aimee
The Husky Coca-Cola 48 Litre Drinks Cooler has an airborne aciustical noise emmission of 40 dB and is in the noise emission Class C. I hope this information helps.
Thank you for using Q&A
Kind regards
The tech spec states it has a temperate of 6-15 degrees so I would not recommend storing food in it that requires chilling as the temperature wont go low enough to meet food safety standards
Hi There
I am unable to answer fully as this depends on the ratio of food items and cans. This Husky Coca-Cola 48 Litre Drinks Cooler stores up to 40 regular size cans with a total capacity of 46L.
Thank you for using Q&A
The stated temperature range for this appliance does not chill low enough to safely store food in it
Its a fridge so Id say yes!
Hi Cindy
Husky Coca-Cola 48 Litre Drinks Cooler - Red
This appliance is intended to be used exclusively for the storage of drinks.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi DT
This does not have an automatic defrost function. The surface of the evaporator ices up when the appliance is working normally. It can also occur when the door has been left open or the thermostat has been set too high. If the frost layer is more than 3mm/1⁄8" thick, the appliance must be defrosted and cleaned to avoid unnecessary energy consumption and inefficient operation.
1. Remove all items inside and unplug the appliance.
2. After defrosting, clean the appliance
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Q&A
We had ours on 5 which is the highest temperature on the dial on the back of the fridge and our cans went out of shape and also ice on the back of the fridge.
Hi there,
Yes, it advised the fuller the fridge the higher the setting should be used.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Lilly
We asked the supplier for you.
They say "The manual is a generic manual that covers the full range of drinks coolers and in a couple of specific models there are lights fitted but not on the 862/9720 Coca-Cola Drinks cooler."
Thanks for using Q & A
Hello Gfor,
I can confirm that the drinks cooler does need to be on a hard, flat surface for stability.
I hope this helps
Thank you for using Q&A
When I bought this for my son we put it in our utility room on top of a worktop so it’s at level two open and shut the door, wouldn’t recommend it to be on the floor hope this helps
No it doesnt in terms of question asked. It compresses the refrigerant in order to cycle the cooling effect. It is completely sealed and no danger to using in student accommodation.
I think what the student accommodation insurance statement was referring to is camping gas canisters used for cooking as these are a fire risk indoors, whereas the fridge is not a risk.
Hello Bex,
I can confirm this fridge does have a compressor. Compressors are needed inside refrigeration units to allow the cold to flow and for the item itself to stay cool.
I hope this helps
Thanks for using Q&A
