The Birlea Phoenix Ottoman Bed provides storage and sleeping space in one smart package, ideal for smaller bedrooms where space counts. The sprung slatted base adjusts to pressure points, providing natural bounce and comfort throughout the night. It has a solid rubberwood frame built to last, with a stone grey finish that suits most bedroom styles. The end-lift ottoman design reveals generous storage underneath, ideal for bedding, pillows or seasonal clothes. Gas pistons make lifting the base easy and controlled, so you won't strain when accessing stored items.
The wooden slats provide firm, long-lasting support for your mattress and help with airflow to keep things fresh. The headboard's included and made from rubberwood to match the frame. Storage capacity is generous at nearly 988 litres, enough to clear clutter and keep your bedroom tidy. The frame holds a maximum user weight of 220 kilogrammes. Self-assembly is required, two people recommended for easier handling. Comes with a manufacturer's one year guarantee. Mattress not included.

Good practical and pretty bed.
Really comfortable and sturdy bed. A little tricky to put together and the ottoman mechanism is a little stiff but sure that will ease with time. Good amount of storage space.

Nice bed
Nice looking bed and good storage but the size of the king size frame is much bigger than a king size mattress leaving a sizeable gap all the way around the bed. Particularly at the bottom - so big you can’t on the edge of the bed. Took around 4 hours to assemble.

I bought this for my guest room to free up some space and gain extra storage it proved to be a great purchase on both of these instructions are not very clear but if you take your time and reread them alls ok would definetly recommend

King size bed I bought couple of week ago, its looks nice but the size is over king, when you put the matters there will be a big gap(mor than 5cm) on each side which is really not good look. also need more support on head side

No floor to base of the bed..so any storage will be sitting on your floor or carpet. For the price its not worth it. Defeats the purpose or which is meant to be for. Would not recommend. Theres better out there thats cheaper and is complete. Its like having a drawer with no bottom on it.

Arrived in good time. The wood is good quality. The instructions were straight forward to follow. Definitely takes two to assemble. Finished product looks great and there is plenty of storage. Worth noting the storage base is placed boards not sealed. Definitely worth it for us.

Great bed, looks great and feels sturdy!
It is either a two person job or a big job for one person, but once it’s together it feels sturdy, is good quality and looks great in our daughters bedroom. The storage underneath is brilliant and is so useful and we plan on our little girl having this bed for many years to come!

Buy some shin pads
We ordered the king size. Bed is wider than matress so theses a 2 inch gap on both sides showing exposed from mechanism. The exposed edge can be caught getting in and out by you legs etc. The bottom borosrd has a piece that sticks out either side by a couple of inches that you’ll catch on you shins. We have bruised legs so it needs to be sawn off. Not very impressed

I can confirm the full width of the headboard is 135cm, which is the full width of the bed frame itself. The area size for the mattress is a UK standard Small Double which is 120cm x 190cm.
