The Argos Home Maine Bookcase gives you tidy shelves for books, toys and photo frames without the hassle of wall-mounted units. It's a tall design that makes the most of vertical space, reaching 180cm high while only taking up 20cm depth against your wall. Four shelves move up or down to suit big hardbacks or small paperbacks, so you can arrange things around plants, frames or kids' toys. One shelf stays fixed to keep the structure stable. The grey wood effect finish works with most living room or bedroom colours. It's part of the Maine collection, so it matches if you've got other pieces.
Wall fixings are included to secure it safely, especially important for taller furniture in family homes. Self-assembly required, and it's easier with two people to hold panels steady while you line up fixings. The wood effect surface wipes clean after dusty shelves or sticky fingerprints. Spend a little more and get something better
But a cheap bookcase - you get a cheap bookcase - and that's what I got. Not great - looks cheap, feels cheap. will do the job for a short time and then will need to be replaces. The photo is photoshopped as you see all the holes down the side on the inside - and if you are not super careful with the mallet/ hammer the nails smash the board on the other side. also - terrible directions on the build.

Fairly generic configurable bookcase much like those from Ikea, Amazon etc. It's functionally useful rather than treasured furniture, I tend to get 3-4 years from them before they're junked which is fine for its intended use (kids rooms)
