The Argos Home Maine Bookcase gives you a straightforward way to organise your books, display your favourite pieces, or bring a bit of life into your room with plants. It's a tall five-shelf unit that fits into narrow spaces without taking over, so it works well in living rooms, bedrooms or home offices. The wood effect finish keeps things simple and blends with most furniture you already have. There's one fixed shelf for structural support and four adjustable shelves you can move to suit what you're storing, whether that's tall hardbacks, small paperbacks, or decorative items.
The shelves adjust to different heights, so you can create space for whatever you need to keep or display. It's made from wood effect materials with a smooth finish that wipes clean when dusty. Wall-mounting brackets are included to secure it safely, especially important if you have children at home. Assembly takes two people and comes with clear instructions and all the fixings you need. Stable shelving
Shelves are easy to put together and didn't take long just under an hour. Looks nice in my little home office you can adjust the shelves to how ever you want them part from the middle shelve.

Good value for money
Bought this for my son's bedroom. Lots of space for books and displaying his Anime figures. Doesn't take up lots of floor space as not too deep which is a bonus. I would advise fixing to the wall with the strap that's included especially if you have young children as it is quite tall and could fall over easily if pulled. Came flat packed, was very easy to assemble and shelves easy to move up and down to suit. I click and collected from my local Argos and the package fitted quite easily in my Honda Jazz with front seat reclined but is quite heavy to lift on my own. Overall very good value for money and happy with this bookcase.

Not great
Bought this bookcase a couple of days ago, not great!. Some screws were misformed and couldn’t be used. Not very stable even with anchorage points and low quality I’m afraid. Couldn’t find a way to cancel the second bookcase either?!?

White Bookcase
Purchased this to display my Blu Ray's and CD's instead of having them sitting in a chest of drawers all the time. Looks great and does the job perfectly! Very stable when backed up to a wall, really happy with it. Assembly was a little time consuming even with two people, and some instructions could've been clearer in my opinion. However, you get what you pay for and I highly recommend it as an affordable display option.

Its a great bookcase the shelves dont bend in the middle like other bookcases i have. And it very stable and looks great in my living room

Looks Really Good
My son in law put this up for me today and he says it went together easily. Looks really good made up and size specifications were accurate. I bought it to house my collection of Lego and it does that perfectly as the spacing of shelves can be adjusted. The finish is good and he fixed it to the wall as suggested to ensure stability.
