The Speaker is great just to have in your hand bag
I brought this product and it is all what I needed I am so pleased I can take it anywhere now even the speakers are like Dolby I really do rate this and the base is quality. The cost was reasonable and I would recommend anyone to try it.

Small but impressive
This JBL Go 5 is a brilliant little Bluetooth speaker that packs a surprising amount of sound into such a compact design. The sound quality is impressive for its size, with clear vocals, punchy bass and plenty of volume for listening at home, in the garden or while travelling. It’s also lightweight and easy to carry around, making it a great speaker for everyday use. You get a decent battery life which is ideal if you are out and about, I’ve been taking mine in the garden while working and it hasn’t failed to disappoint

JBL has done it again...
I have used the JBL Go 5 for the past 3 weeks and it's one of the loudest portable speakers I own. For how small this speaker is, it is surprisingly loud and it does a very good job of keeping the clarity of the music quite well. Another feature I found quite interesting is that you can adjust the sound to your preference in the JBL app. There is also plenty of battery life with this speaker meaning you can definitely take this for a day out when camping with friends or sunbathing by the beach. The ambient lighting on this portable speaker is what really sets it apart from the rest of the speakers (including the JBL Go 4) - I wish there was a way you could change the ambient colour on it, but at least you have the option to change the way the lights move in the app too. I would also say that it has quality build to it too, so accidentally dropping it wouldn't be too much of an issue. Would certainly recommend!

I bought the JBL Go 5 for my daughter to take to university, and it's been a real hit. It's very compact, so it fits easily on a desk or shelf in her room, but the sound is far bigger than you'd expect from something this small. Music comes through clear and crisp, and it fills the room without sounding tinny. Setting it up was really easy. She had it paired with her phone in seconds, with no fiddly instructions needed. The battery life is impressive too, lasting a long time between charges. What she loves most is how portable it is. It's already been to the beach and will definitely be coming on holiday. A great little speaker, and excellent value for money.

Perfect compact speaker, great sound and value.
I have owned this speaker for over a month, and I love it. May sound stupid but it’s so quick to turn on and connect it makes it so easy, I used to just use my phone speaker on my desk but the Go 5 is so small and practical it can sit on my desk and gets used every day. The sound quality it really good, with the signature JBL sound. As I said it connects via Bluetooth really easily, the app is straight forward and has a number of settings like controlling the led, the sound settings, if you have another JBL product you can start a party so you can connect two devices and play the same music on both. The speaker is small but feels sturdy and well protected so you can confidently attach it to you bag etc. the battery life is very good and last as long as advertised.

No, our JBL Go 5 does not have a traditional 3.5mm AUX port. However it supports USB-C audio playback. This allows us to play lossless audio through a direct wired USB-C connection to compatible devices (like a smartphone, tablet, or computer), in addition to wireless Bluetooth streaming. To enable this, you need a USB Type-C end to end cable, insert one end on your device and on the speaker while holding the Play button.
Yes, our JBL Go 5 is showerproof. It has an IP68 rating which makes it completely dustproof and waterproof, allowing it to easily handle shower spray, heavy splashes, and even full submersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Just make sure to let it dry for a few hours before charging it. You may use a compressed air or let it sit in an open space.

Thank you for your inquiry. Our JBL Go 5 does not have a feature where the memory card can be used. However, this speaker supports lossless USB-C audio and it requires compatible lossless audio content from supported apps/ services.
Thanks for your question. In an effort to reduce electronic waste, our JBL GO 5 and many of our newer models no longer include a charging cable in the box. The unit is compatible with any standard USB-C cable you may already have from other devices.
