This TV gets a thumbs up for me, I love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know where to begin for reviewing my new MASSIVE 85" Hisense TV 85E78STUK PRO. I'm actually even more impressed with it than I was expecting. The TV it's replacing was a decent 65" TV, so was only expecting a small improvement in the picture and sound quality, and got to admit the thought had crossed my mind that because of the 20" size difference, whatever increase in picture quality with the new telly, would be lost in this increase in size. I was wrong, the sharpness for a start, is much better, as are the depths and vibrancy of colours, proper black blacks, even in a darkened room. The Tv automatically upscales standard signal to 4K. I have not altered the colours in any way, I'm extremely happy with the way they are out of the box so to speak. For the technical it boasts Quantum Dot Colour and Dolby Vision IQ. You do have preset options, like cinema, game mode, sport etc. which again I have not needed to change, although I have used the sport mode to watch football. I was showing the TV off to (jealous) friends though. Same as picture options, there are preset sound options. I've tried the music and cinema sound modes, as with picture modes, there are more options, but can't remember them all. With the sound, I did increase the bass on the graphic equaliser as I like a lot of oomph. For the technically minded it boasts 2 x 15W + 20W speakers and has eARK audio via HDMI. Again for the technical the TV boasts Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual X decoding for immersive sound. There are plenty of connection options e.g. several HDMI's USB etc., which I won't go into as the specs are on all the sales and Hisense websites. Setting up was simple, from initial setup, to connecting to Wi-Fi. I'd say most apps what you need are pre-installed like Netflix etc. I can't comment on the installed apps as I don't have Netflix account, I almost exclusively use Sky on my TV, which this TV compliments amazingly, the Sky remote pairs easily with the TV, for automatic turning the TV on and off. One slight downside (if you can call it that) I've noticed is you need to check the little white standby light on the bottom of the TV illuminates when turning off, as you can't tell it has gone into a standby state because of the darkness of the black colour. The TV has built in Freely for viewing live TV. This seems good, although only used very briefly when first setting the TV up with using Sky. The TV remote has built in voice control, enabling use of the built in Alexa for example. Can't comment on the use of that as I have Alexa in the room already set up and don't want them fighting over each other. I was pleased to find out this TV only weighs just over 32kg (85" without stand) which is a lot lighter than my previous 65" TV. I must also point out, I measured my chimney breast wall incorrectly when measuring up for the wall bracket/mount and the TV is bigger than my original measurements, so I need to move the wall bracket before I can mount it. I thought, oh no, I've made a terrible mistake, the TV is far too big for the room when I first started viewing, BUT I have quickly become used to the size. So be brave and order the biggest you can fit in your room, you won't regret it. In a nutshell this TV gets a thumbs up for me, I absolutely love it and don't have one regret in purchasing it. From delivery in its extremely sturdy box, to sitting watching a movie, it has brought an enormous smile to my face. Can't wait till I can get it on the wall. I might then, find even more amazing features that I have probably missed. I haven't mentioned the value for money is also excellent, getting more to the £ than most other manufacturers. I hadn't taken much notice of the brand Hisense until a couple of years ago if I'm honest. Then I looked into their side by side fridge freezers, I was impressed with the build quality, innovation and price. When this TV came on the market and I had a chance of purchasing, I had no qualms on buying Hisense. As in my review, from packaging to use of the item, it's all first class, competition for the best

Huge and zero compromise
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this colossal 85-inch Hisense PRO QLED set up on my dining table for an initial test, and I am already in love. My first experience with this TV has been fantastic. Right out of the box, the first thing you notice is, of course, the size. It is huge! An 85-inch screen completely transforms a space. Perfect for hosting the upcoming world cup! We had to temporarily place it on our large dining table to get it unboxed and turned on, but it makes an incredible first impression. After a straightforward setup, the QLED picture quality is really good! The colors are incredibly vibrant and the contrast is impressive for an initial test. I mainly bought this for gaming, and i can't wait to test this connected up to my PS5. The channels and streaming apps are great with everything you need. It’s clearly built for a serious home cinema wall which is pending as we get our renovations done. My initial test gives me full confidence in my purchase. This TV is an absolute showstopper for anyone looking to go big. I will be recommending to my friends and family! 10/10
