Purchased a couple of weeks ago and really pleased with it. The colours are really vibrant and the overall picture quality is really good. In my opinion it is excellent value for the price paid. The only issue I’ve had is that the remote sensor is at the bottom in the middle below the height of my current soundbar meaning that I’ve had to position it off centre.

Excellent Television with Superb Colour
I bought this television on 6th October. It is a 43 inch screen which is an ideal size for the room we use. The picture is very clear with superb colour and the sound is excellent.

Software issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Major software bug on E7S Pro: Freely app permanently breaks Aerial PVR recording! I purchased the Hisense E7S Pro on 3 October 2026, and it has a critical software flaw. I use a standard aerial connection to utilize the TV's PVR recording function. It works perfectly until you open any smart app. The moment an app is launched, the TV permanently locks itself into the internet-driven "Freely" software environment. When you switch back to standard TV mode, the system refuses to release the Freely lock. It completely disables the local aerial tuner and kills the PVR record function. The only way to get the recording feature to work again is to perform a full Factory Reset of the TV. Every. Single. Time. Requiring a daily factory reset just to use standard TV tuner features on a brand-new television is completely unacceptable. This is a severe firmware conflict between VIDAA OS and Freely that completely ruins the user experience. As a workaround to keep my TV working, I have been forced to use an external Roku 4K Streaming Stick. By avoiding the built-in apps entirely, the TV doesn't lock up, but I shouldn't have to use extra hardware to bypass a broken software system on a brand-new television. Hisense engineering team: Please patch this firmware bug, or I will be forced to return the TV to the retailer as unfit for purpose.

Brilliant Picture
After reviewing this tv I purchased one, never had this make before, very pleased with it . Easy to set up.Sound is really clear and goes loud enough to hear talking over music in background when watching a film, the picture quality is very good brilliant colour, brighness and sharp. Excellent TV for the price.

Clarity of sound and image plus great features.
I bought this a few weeks ago from Argos. It was great value as some Hisense models had a 20% discount. I’m very very pleased with the television’s picture and sound and would highly recommend it. It has all the connectivity you could want and starts up really quickly. I love the extra features like the art gallery, and my grandson discovered the games he can play via the remote this morning - big hit!

The ideal bedroom TV upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Hisense 43E78STUK PRO for a little while now, and it has been a really solid upgrade. The 43-inch size is spot on for my setup; it fits perfectly into a retractable TV bed, which was a must-have feature for me. It’s slim and lightweight, making it ideal for space-conscious or integrated furniture setups. Setup was quick and painless. The accompanying VIDAA app made things incredibly simple, and the QR code login is a massive time-saver compared to typing usernames and passwords with a remote. The smart interface is responsive and well laid out, with major apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video ready to go. Having Freely built in is a great bonus too, giving easy access to terrestrial channels in excellent quality. The remote is simple, responsive, and sensibly designed. Picture quality is very good, especially for the price. The QLED display delivers bright, sharp visuals with vivid colours. While the blacks aren’t quite OLED-level, they’re still impressively deep and avoid that washed-out grey look. There are plenty of picture and sound settings to fine-tune things, including a dedicated gaming mode (although I haven’t tested the full 144Hz capability yet). There are also enough HDMI ports that I don’t have to juggle cables. The built-in speakers are clear and can get impressively loud without distortion. They’re good enough that we haven’t felt the need for a soundbar or external speakers. Overall, it’s a great all-rounder that balances performance, size, and practicality. It’s fast, easy to set up, and delivers excellent picture quality for the price.

Easy to Use, Great to WatcH
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Here’s a completely different-style review that sounds more natural and personal: After living with the Hisense 43Q7STUK for a few weeks, I can honestly say it has exceeded my expectations. I wasn’t looking for anything overly complicated, just a TV with a great picture and easy-to-use features, and it delivers on both. The first thing that stood out was how straightforward everything was. From taking it out of the box to getting it connected and ready to watch, the whole process was refreshingly simple. Within a short time I was signed into my streaming services and browsing through content without needing to dig through manuals or menus. The picture quality is easily the star of the show. Films, sports and everyday TV all look sharp and vibrant, with colours that really stand out without looking unnatural. Even during bright afternoons, when sunlight fills the room, the screen remains clear enough to enjoy without constantly adjusting blinds or curtains. One feature I didn’t expect to use was the children’s remote, but it’s actually a thoughtful addition. It’s simple, colourful and gives younger viewers an easy way to access suitable content, which I can imagine being a real bonus for families. The smart TV interface is well laid out and includes all the apps I regularly use, meaning I’ve been able to retire my streaming stick completely. The dedicated app buttons on the remote are handy too, making it quick to jump straight into whatever I want to watch. There is occasionally a slight delay when navigating menus, but it’s minor and hasn’t affected my overall experience. Considering everything else the TV offers, it’s a small compromise. Overall, this TV feels like a fantastic all-round package. It looks stylish, performs brilliantly and is simple enough for everyone in the household to use. If you’re upgrading from an older set, you’ll definitely notice the difference.
