Purchased a couple of weeks ago and really pleased with it. The colours are really vibrant and the overall picture quality is really good. In my opinion it is excellent value for the price paid. The only issue I’ve had is that the remote sensor is at the bottom in the middle below the height of my current soundbar meaning that I’ve had to position it off centre.

Clarity of sound and image plus great features.
I bought this a few weeks ago from Argos. It was great value as some Hisense models had a 20% discount. I’m very very pleased with the television’s picture and sound and would highly recommend it. It has all the connectivity you could want and starts up really quickly. I love the extra features like the art gallery, and my grandson discovered the games he can play via the remote this morning - big hit!

Massive 4K Streaming Upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading to this Hisense TV from an older 2017 model has completely transformed my evening movie nights and sports viewing. For anyone who relies strictly on streaming apps rather than traditional broadcast TV, this screen is an incredible step up in overall performance. The picture quality is the real star here. Thanks to the Quantum Dot technology, colors look rich, accurate, and full of life. Watching 4K HDR shows brings out vibrant highlights and fine details that my old television simply couldn't display. Motion handling is another major highlight; fast-moving action scenes and live sports look buttery smooth without any distracting blur or stutter. While black levels in a completely pitch-black room fall slightly short of ultra-expensive OLED screens, the picture remains crisp, bright, and deeply satisfying for everyday living room viewing. The smart TV interface is surprisingly rapid. Menus respond instantly, and jumping between streaming services takes only a couple of seconds. Navigation is intuitive, making it very easy to find your favorite shows right out of the box. In terms of audio, the built-in speakers produce clear, crisp dialogue for everyday series and documentaries. However, if you are looking for room-shaking bass during blockbuster movies, pairing it with a soundbar is a great addition. Excellent TV with great Smart Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously owned a Hisense TV, I was curious to see how much they have improved over the years - and boy was I impressed! Starting with initial set-up. Very easy to use and get started. A QR code allowed access to the app to help set-up go smoothly and I was up and running within a few minutes. The user interface is very easy to use and intuitive to find your way about. Using the smart on demand features, finding apps, setting up your sound and pictures preferences - all very easy to utilise. The picture quality is superb - colours are rich and vibrant, blacks are clear and the auto adjustment features on the TV are great to ensure maximum quality when viewing darker movies. I particularly like the function where it automatically senses if a movie you are watching has Filmaker mode and it automatically switches to this to enhance your viewing. The AI motion adjustments are great too - avoiding the motion blur effects you get with some TVs. This is particularly great when gaming - smooth motions and movements making it great to play on. Sound is very good too - a massive upgrade on previous Hisense models. The remote is very easy to use and a good size - feels nice in your hands and the quick access to the most popular streaming apps makes for seamless switching between what your watching. Overall I am very impressed with this TV. It's an excellent choice for someone looking for a great quality TV for their living room or bedroom - great for movies, shows, streaming and gaming - all round, I highly recommend this TV. 5 Stars!

Good picture, but unreliable "AI" features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: Enjoyable picture The core performance of this TV is solid. The image quality is excellent, delivering sharp visuals and vibrant colors. Motion handling is also up to par; most of the time, the smoothness level is excellent for movies and TV shows. The Sound: neat features The built-in sound system is decent and includes an acoustic calibration feature. While it’s a great concept, in practice, the calibration doesn't make a massive difference to the overall audio profile. It’s perfectly fine for daily casual viewing, but upgrading sound using soundbar (or even - a Bluetooth speaker) is still worth it. The quirks: aggressive AI & Interface Confusion Where the TV stumbles a bit is in its "smart" processing and software: the AI image and sound enhancement mode can be incredibly unpredictable. At times, the AI creates rather bizarre visual effects—such as over-brightening faces to the point where people look almost like mime artists. It's best to leave it switched off. The user interface can be genuinely confusing. Settings and features appear and disappear depending on the content you are playing. For example, you will see different menu options inside the same streaming app depending on whether you are watching standard content or HDR. Even more, the settings menus frequently show multiple features as grayed out and unavailable, with absolutely no explanation as to why they are locked or which setting you need to change to unlock them. Hisense, please make all features visible, but the ones that are not available - with notes explaining the reason for feature not being available (content type, other settings, etc.) The remote control is functionally well-designed, featuring dedicated buttons for the most frequently used apps and features. However, the physical build feels a bit too "mushy" to the touch, lacking a crisp, satisfying click when pressing buttons. Final Verdict If you are willing to spend a little time tweaking the settings, like turning off the erratic AI mode, and learning the quirks of the dynamic menus, the Hisense 55E78STUK PRO can be TV for your house. It is a good display wrapped in a slightly confusing smart platform.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a breeze, I literally plugged in the socket and connected to WiFi, simple to configure and very responsive. All major apps are pre installed, although the App Library is limited. Picture quality is standard, it’s clear and colourful just nothing amazing, I might even call it a little flat perhaps because of the anti-reflecting screen. Sound wise I hooked up seamlessly to a surround system using the HDMI ARC. I find the remote control a little busy with all the buttons, but it’s light and otherwise responsive.
