Comfortable, good quality divan bed with spacious storage drawers and stylish headboard. Assembly is generally easy but clips can be tight. Some report minor defects, but overall great value and highly recommended.

Excellent comfortable bed
I bought this single bed for my teenage son its the best bed we've ever bought. Bottom base came in 1 piece ,headboard easy to assemble. Mattress very comfortable. Would definitely buy again.

Comfy bed with headboard
The divan, headboard and mattress are great! I’ve ordered Silentnight beds before and the quality is great. However, on arrival one of the drawers was damaged, possibly in transit. Once I’d managed to get hold of someone from Argos customer services they did offer me an exchange for the entire divan.

Great all round bed!
Very easy to order, quick and convenient delivery options, good price with deal, bought for 18 yr old son who has outgrown his double bed and it’s so much better. Looks great, secure assembly and good quality. This is actually the second one of these we have purchased having some years ago got the same one for our other son - both our kids are well over 6 foot. Both are very happy, find the beds comfy and fit them so much better! Assembly gets 4 stars but that’s only to do with the plastic clips that hold the two bases together as they are super tight and not sure I’d have been able to push them on without my husband. It does however mean the bases are really secure once they are in place so it’s actually a good thing…but I personally just wasn’t strong enough!! Over all would recommend this bed.

Super comfort
This has got to be the most comfortable bed I have slept in. I am small in stature and my wife is almost a foot taller, however it supports us both despite our height differences and conditions.

Bought this last month it says check the mattress before unpacking .checked it and had a spring sticking through making a hole .They sent a new bed and mattress was good but the base was also damaged on the draws but as already unpacked .got a small refund as fed up waiting for decent product .had to get the draws repaired but ok now .

Hello Alice
I can advise the following for the : Silentnight Memory Single 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Charcoal.
The headboard cannot be fitted at both ends of the bed.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi Nicki,
No, the mattress on the Silentnight Memory Single 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Charcoal is not supplied rolled up.
Hi there,
The mattress should stay in place when on the Silentnight Memory Superking 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Grey. I would advise taking a look at the reviews section on our website for feedback.
Thanks for using Q&A
Hi there,
Yes, on the Silentnight Memory Kingsize 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Grey, fire labels are sewn into both the mattress and the divan bed.
Mattresses, beds and divans must have a fire label sewn in, which refers to BS71772 – the British safety specification for resistance to ignition of mattresses, divans and bed bases.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Barny,
Silentnight Memory Single 2 Drawer Divan Bed - Charcoal
Having checked I can see this comes in two pieces.
Thanks for using Q&A.
Hi Julian - if ordering a 2 drawer specifically it will have one drawer on each divan piece (divans come in 2 pieces for anything larger than a single size). The headboard can go on either end of the bed, so that you can choose which side to have both drawers on. This allows you to have the bed up against the wall & have both drawers still accessible. I hope that helps - thanks, Laura @ Silentnight.
