Fair Product
The bed frame and board keep dropping from the edges, making the bed easy to break. I just did an extra DIY on the bed to stabilise the bedframe. The mental that holds the bed floor should be up to 3 and a half inches on one side to maintain the bed's stability. I reinforced it with wood I bought from Wickes, which solved the problem. However, I would not recommend it.

Great design, fairly easy to put together
This was similar to a previous build we had, but we were upgrading to superking. It's very sturdy and putting it together was fairly easy. It's slimline for a superking which is great. The design itself is modern and a nice grey colour that goes with most colour schemes. Boxes were very heavy though.... which is expected but a pain to haul around and open indoors.

Okay for the money
Recently brought this bed, it looks good and the storage space is very useful. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the awful smell, I’m assuming it’s either from the factory or storage. It’s been in the room for a couple of weeks now and it still smells like a fusty/ fishy smell. Not pleasant, I’m hoping that the upholstery cleaner will get rid of the smell. In

I got this bed around a month ago now and it was very easy to put up with the instructions provided by argos. The bedframe is lovely and the colour is a really nice grey. Love how they give you a sheet for underneath the bed to put stuff on rather than all your belongings just being straight onto your carpet/flooring, protects the flooring and items.

A UK king size measures 60" x 78" so your mattress would be suitable for this frame but there may be a little space on each side.

Hello Phillip, I have taken a look at the instructions for building the Argos Home Costa Fabric Double Ottoman Bed Frame and there is an 'open from the left side and an 'open from the right side' instruction so yes, this bed can be built to your own opening preference.
