not very good
bought the phones recently for my mum who is hard of hearing and they are not much good for her as the ring tines cannot be increased and they are not loud enough for her so she cannot really hear the phones ringing.

From the information available, it is possible to add another handset at a later date. You would need to register the handset to the base manually. It would not connect automatically. It is registered through the base that you have and the handset.

Yes, the BT Everyday Cordless Telephone base can be plugged into a standard telephone port. You do not need a 513 amp plug socket for the BT Everyday Cordless Telephone. The telephone can be connected to any standard socket, as long as it is plugged into a mains power supply.

If your router has a standard BT Phone line port on it, you simply plug it into that. If your router has an RJ-11 port, you can use an RJ-11 to RJ-11 cable, or use a BT phone line to RJ-11 adaptor.
