I bought this in the sale. When we opened it the base was already scratched. Not the best quality, and a short lead, but OK for the sale price.

I bought this lamp for myself, as my favourite colour is Navy and this lamp just fitted perfectly in my bedroom. Love the star effect and, if you put warm white light, it is so soothing and calming. I also switch between warm white and blue bulb. Perfect!

This has been designed to create a sense of calm and tranquility and the light is coming from the star shapes and not all over and so it may not be suitable for reading by.
This will also depend on an individuals eye sight.
