Disaster of a product!
Tried at least 5 different dvds but the player just kept crashing. Couldn't get more than 10 minutes into a movie! And these weren't old battered dvds either, some were brand new. Tried messing about with settings but it made zero difference

Easy to use + great picture & sound
Used for a few 4K Blu Rays now, and seems to do the job nicely - all the films so far have been big, loud productions, and the player handles them well for the most part. The visuals are crisp and the sound has impact - I'm just finding that once, maybe twice in a film, the sound will stutter for about a 10th of second, but maybe that's just with particularly 'big' films.

This player is NOT 4k - it only upscales as best it can but dont kid yourself it plays in 4k for it doesnt- read the spec sheet. This player only upscales. Presently this is misleading description from Sony. As for connecting to your tv yes you can but if your tv is only rated 1080dpi the upscaling wont work.
