Easy to use
Lots better than a kettle . Great and easy to use

Good single cup kettle. Second time I’ve bought it
I bought this as replacement for the same kettle after first one stopped working (it 4 years old and I wasn’t very diligent at descaling it). I like the design better than newer models. It’s ideal for making single hot drinks. The variable dispensing is great. The boil time fast. You need a jug to fill the water reservoir. The slight downside when using is that the when the water is dispensed, the spout sputters and then dribbles a bit. It’s a small thing but probably could have been designed to flow better.

Breville Hot Water Dispenser
Had one of these water dispensers before. This was a replacement. Discovered after purchasing, B&M had the same product for £25 cheaper, pity we weren't aware of this at the time of purchase.

Perfect for people living alone.
Perfect for when you just want to make a cuppa for yourself. Adjusts easily to the size of your favourite cup. Easy to see when the water tank needs filling. When catering for more than 2 people it is easier to use a kettle.

Great features
This is a great upgrade from the previous version we have had for a few years (which eventually packed up) It holds more water, so less refilling required, and you can adjust the amount of water it discharges.

Amazing value
Amazing value, it was £70 when I got a week or two ago! There's only a 2 bug bares that's not a separate water tank as. It's a all in one design (still great) and when the water dispensers it come out a bit erratic but 99.90% of the water goes into the cup/mug, and the adjustable amout of water dispensed is a big yes from me it definitely very useful!

Hi there, yes, it is possible to clean the inside of the cold water tank on the Breville HotCup through standard descaling, as outlined in the user manual. While the reservoir itself may not be removable, regular descaling helps to clean and maintain the internal components, preventing issues like mould buildup. Be sure to follow the instructions in the manual for the correct descaling procedure and frequency to keep your appliance in good condition.
Hi there, the measurement from the bottom of the nozzle is 12cm but you can also get more room by removing the drip tray which is magnetic and the space is then 14cm.

Boils hot enough like kettle
I dont think so but it only lasts for 4 -5 seconds anyway.
Hi RB, the VKT111 produces the same amount of noise as a standard kettle when heating up water.
Hi Age uk volunteer, for a small cup setting, the VKT111 dispenses around 150-200 ml of water.
Hi Nesims, when using the VKT111 lid, it is a matter of simply lifting it; there are no buttons involved, just a little handle that aids in elevating the lid.
