It’ll be convenient for clients when paying as I’m a mobile hairdresser as it will save the worry of having the correct money or worrying over bank transfer if clients aren’t tech savvy. It’s a small sleek design so convenient to carry around in my hairdresser kit when travelling.

Nifty bit of kit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sumup card reader is a nifty piece of kit! I have previously used a different version and never had any problems so was excited to give this version (solo light) a try. They are super easy to set up with a guide to follow. The connection I’ve never really had any issues with and the battery life is amazing! The battery life is one of the main selling points on this item for myself! So no panicking that it’s going to run out of battery mid day. The price of the card reader is also very affordable. The screen is the perfect size and also nice and bright so no struggling to read. It’s so light and small yet super efficient! I did used to have a few issues with a previous version with connection dropping sometimes but so far so good with this sumup solo light card reader! 5 stars all round!!
