Quite impressed
I bought one of these a month ago, it was a great way to get my ladder to a job. Used correctly, they're very good, and easy to use and store.

Dangerous Product
This product is beyond terrible. It clearly advertises it as a means to transport a surfboard, so that’s what I bought it for. But on first use, the surfboard fell off the roof… whilst driving. Fortunately it wasn’t on the motorway, otherwise the situation could have been far worse. But do not get this product if you are travelling any longer than 20 minutes or at any more that 30mph. Cheap, poor quality, dangerous.

Why pay more?
Until I started looking for a roof rack I had no idea how much they cost. As I only needed the rack to bring some fence panels back from B+Q I didn't want to spend too much. These are simple to fit, although you might need something to stand on depending how how your vehicle roof is. I don't think you could carry more than a plank of wood with just the strap on the racks, so the long straps are needed. These go through the vehicle, but well above head height at least on mine. But watch out - don't wash the car with the long straps still on - they break the seal around the door. I had water dripping onto the driver's seat!

Not perfect but good at what it does
As I needed a roof rack to transport some heavy furniture, I tried this product as my car is so old I can’t get any other to fit. It may not be every one’s cup of tea but worked for me, super easy to fit & remove 👍

Hi Grace,
Thanks for your query about the Streetwize Soft Rack Roof Bars.
It’s not designed for specific items as such. “It is perfect for carrying lightweight items such as surfboards, canoes, luggage and ladders.” As long as the items can be safely fixed to it and can be supported by it, the bars should be OK. Without knowing which specific brand, size, model, of child’s bike they are, I cannot confirm if they will fit your bikes.
It supports a maximum load of 65kg but we’d advise that you please check your vehicle hand book for the maximum roof load and its compatibility with these bars.
Thanks for using Q&A.
