The Habitat Supersoft Washable Mattress Protector ensures your mattress is protected from sweat, spills and stains. Perfect to prolong the life of your mattress it has elasticated straps and is suitable for a mattress depth of 30cm. Easy to machine wash and line dry.

Fits well. Only complaint is the corner straps need to be a bit further in as they ping off whilst you are doing the other side. But seems ok and comfy to lie on

Does the job
This was purchased to protect the guest single bed. It feels ok-nice and soft. It's not waterproof. It's easy care, and washes well. It's held in place by 4 corner elastic straps, which work well and keeps it from slipping around.

Not a good fit
The elastic on the corners is too short. It does not even fit the topper which is just a couple of inches deep. Would never fit the mattress. Even with just the topper the corners of the topper are being pulled up. Only keeping it because I can’t be bothered to return it. Comfort is not really applicable. It’s just a mattress protector, not purchased for comfort factor.

Very pleased with this mattress protector
The mattress protector is very soft and comfortable. It is a good thickness. It does not rustle as our old one did. It was super easy to fit with elastic strips at each corner instead of elastic all round the edge. It will protect the mattress from sweat etc but is not waterproof

The images all show the same pattern. It's a diagonally set, square pattern. The angle of the second picture does create a foreshortening that makes it look rectangular.

The supplier has advised the following for the Supersoft Washable Mattress Protector - Double:
No, it does not have a PU coated underside, this product isn’t a waterproof mattress protector. The supplier advises that, if you are looking for a waterproof protectors please check out this item on our wesbite, the Waterproof Mattress Protector – Single, cat no: 937/9433.
They also add this point with regards to using a protector on the underside. Because the waterproof protectors have an elasticated skirt, you would have to fit it to the mattress on the top like your normally would. Then, once fitted, please flip the mattress over so the protector is now laying on top of your wooden slats.
(So, you’d need to choose which side is to function as the top and put the protector on the other side. This is subject of course to the mattress being the sort that you can reverse).
