The Habitat Supersoft Washable Mattress Protector has a soft touch cover ensuring your mattress is protected from sweat and stains, prolonging the life of your mattress. The mattress protector has elasticated straps suitable for a mattress depth of 30cm. The mattress protector is machine washable and line dry.

Bought two of these. Unfortunately opened one so couldn’t return. Very small only just fits a double mattress and elastic straps too narrow. Waste of money so returned second one got a refund.

The images all show the same pattern. It's a diagonally set, square pattern. The angle of the second picture does create a foreshortening that makes it look rectangular.

The supplier has advised the following for the Supersoft Washable Mattress Protector - Double:
No, it does not have a PU coated underside, this product isn’t a waterproof mattress protector. The supplier advises that, if you are looking for a waterproof protectors please check out this item on our wesbite, the Waterproof Mattress Protector – Single, cat no: 937/9433.
They also add this point with regards to using a protector on the underside. Because the waterproof protectors have an elasticated skirt, you would have to fit it to the mattress on the top like your normally would. Then, once fitted, please flip the mattress over so the protector is now laying on top of your wooden slats.
(So, you’d need to choose which side is to function as the top and put the protector on the other side. This is subject of course to the mattress being the sort that you can reverse).
