Two pressure settings (8lb and 12lb) let you adjust cooking speed, while the visual pressure indicator shows when it's ready and a mechanical lock keeps the lid secure until it's safe to open. The steamer basket gives you more cooking options, and it works on all hob types including electric, gas, ceramic, halogen, induction and solid hotplates. Good value, feels well engineered, simple to use
I bought to replace a poorly constructed and failing Prestige and am pleased I did. It feel suitaly heavy - this model has a thicker base for more even heat distribution - and feels well engineered the lid clicking and locking firmly into place and the in use simple there being only four settings, low pressure, high pressure, steam, and remove whole knob. I can't tell yet how it will perform in the long run but the start is promising. It is good value and a better buy than the slightly cheaper model, Just off to cook some oxtail as it happens.

Makes long cooking tasks like slow stewing a thing of the past. Now I know why my mum had one. Getting used almost daily now. Built to a very high quality stainless and very very easy to clean and maintain. The size is perfect for a hungry 4-person family, holds enough for family dinner and another lot for later. Highly recommended in any kitchen as a timesaver without any reduction of food taste or quality.
