About this product
The Habitat Ruxley Bed Frame gives you a place to rest with practical storage built in. It's upholstered in soft velvet that feels nice to lean against when you're reading or settling down for the night. Sprung wooden slats sit underneath to support your mattress and move with you as you shift around. There's a drawer at the foot end that holds 98L, so you can store spare bedding, seasonal clothes, or things you don't need every day. It suits small double mattresses and fits neatly into most bedrooms.
The stitched detailing gives the upholstered frame a neat finish, while plastic feet lift it just off the floor with 2cm space underneath. The storage drawer slides out from the foot end, giving you space that'd usually sit empty. The base slats flex and respond, keeping your mattress properly supported over time. Self-assembly required, two people recommended to make it easier. Covered by a one-year guarantee.

Beautiful Bed, Let Down by Missing Fittings
I was really looking forward to receiving this bed because it looked beautiful but unfortunately, when I started assembling it, I discovered that the essential fittings and tools were missing, making it impossible to put the bed together. I contacted Argos customer service expecting a quick resolution, but I was extremely disappointed to be told that the replacement parts cannot be delivered until 22nd July. This means I have to wait much longer before I can even use a bed that I’ve already paid for. Mistakes can happen, but what is most disappointing is the length of time it takes to fix the problem. When customers spend their money and put their trust in a company, they expect products to arrive complete and ready to assemble, or for any issues to be resolved promptly. I hope Argos improves its quality checks before dispatching products and provides faster support when mistakes occur. Sadly, this experience has been frustrating and has reduced my confidence in ordering large items from Argos in the future.

Habitat Ruxley Double Bed
I boight this bed a month ago & am so glad that i did. I love the look, the size and the draw is big enough for my bedding. The draw is even bigger than it looks in the advert I like the wood used for the draw and the headboard and foot material looks great. Overall this bed is good quality.

The drawer is approx. 560mm deep so we would suggest approx. 600mm to fully pull it out.

To demonstrate this these two photos were taken from the same position under different lighting conditions and as you can see the one on the left is a close match for the photos on your website whereas the one on the right appears to be lighter.
